Quali was good! The team had resolved a steering issue and we set solid, consistent times for P3/P4/P2.
Race 1 : P3>P4 - Top battle for P2 with Martin with us swapping places a number of times. I was hanging on to the position but had not spotted I was on the last lap, so didn't cover the inside at the Melbourne hairpin. Martin made his move, had a bit of a lock up, which forced us both wide, allowing Max to take advantage. Drag race to the line but I came away P4...Gutted, but won't make that mistake again!
Race 2 : P4>P3 - Mega battle with Leon for P2 with us trading places a number of times. Our battle brought Martin into the mix too. I had almost got P2 back when the safety car was called (driver okay). We finished under the SC, which is not how you want to get your first podium but we'll take it!
Race 3 : P2>P3 - Crap start and lost the place to Leon straight away! I had to be wary of Jake behind me, which allowed Oli and Leon to pull a gap on the first lap. Rest of the race was then pretty much trying to close the gap to Leon in front whilst maintaining the gap ultimately to Martin behind. Second podium of the weekend and first going the distance!
