Quali : Not the best. We'd put a wet set up on the car, which turned out to be the wrong call. After that there was a mix up post session which resulted in my best three lap times being deleted. Consistency paid off though, as my remaining times were good enough for P6/P5/P4.
Race 1 : P6>P6. Good launch and was trying a move on Martin but couldn't get past. Leon and Zain then came through. Down to P8 by the first corner! Got one place back and then was in a three car train for most of the race. Martin went for a move on Leon at the bottom of the mountain which didn't come off. This compromised his exit and I was able to get by on the inside and bring P6 home. A decent recovery drive.
Race 2 : P5>P4. Decent start and a good battle for P4 with Martin until he went off the track. I started to take some time out of Max in P3 but pushed the tyres a bit too hard in the attempt to catch him.
Race 3 : P4>P3. Another good start and got P3 by the second corner. It wasn't then long before I had to defend against Ollie, who had moved up through the midfield. Did a mega defensive job until the first red flag. On the restart though, I had my own moment but finished under the second red flag with an upside down podium! Good to hear Lachlan was okay after his off too!
